6.1 Exploring the Billing & Payments Dashboard
The Billing & Payments dashboard in GenieSign gives you a complete view of your subscription and usage. Hereβs what you can see and manage:
- Plan Details: View your current subscription plan, including the number of senders, documents, and templates. You can also purchase additional services like SMS, 2FA, and KBA, or request to change your current plan.
- Billing Details: Manage your payment information by adding or updating your card details and billing address.
- Payments History: Review your full invoice history with options to download or print for recordkeeping.
- Onboarding Usage Overview: Track how many onboarding processes you've completed and how many are remaining under your current plan β helping you plan ahead efficiently.
- Subscription Progress Tracker: See how many days have passed in your current yearly subscription and how many days remain before your next renewal.
- Renewal Reminders: GenieSign does not auto-renew your yearly subscription. Before your subscription expires, you will receive a reminder email prompting you to renew it manually. This helps prevent any disruption in service.
π‘ Tip: Regularly reviewing your billing dashboard ensures transparency and helps you manage your subscription effectively.
6.2 Changing Your Subscription Plan
To change your GenieSign subscription plan:
- Go to Configurations > Billing and Payments in your GenieSign dashboard.
- Click on Manage Plan.
- Choose your desired plan and review the features.
- Confirm the change. Your new plan will take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle, depending on your selection.
π‘ Note: Upgrading takes effect immediately. Downgrading request will be reviewed by the billing department and reflected in the next billing period after they have reached out to you with a confirmation email.
6.3 Managing Your Payment Methods
To update or change your payment method:
- Navigate to Configurations > Billing and Payments > Payment Methods.
- Click Add New Payment Method or Edit an existing one.
- Enter your card or payment gateway details securely.
- Click Save to update.
You can have multiple payment methods saved, but only one can be active at a time.
6.4 Cancelling or Downgrading Your Subscription
To cancel or downgrade:
- Go to Configurations > Billing and Payments> Manage Plan
- Click Cancel Plan or Downgrade Plan
- Follow the confirmation prompts
After cancellation, you will be reached out by the billing team. Once it is confirmed by the billing department, your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. Your data will be retained for 30 days unless you request earlier deletion.
β οΈ Downgrading may restrict some advanced features or reduce onboarding capacity.
6.5 Requesting an Invoice
GenieSign automatically generates monthly invoices. To access them:
- Go to Configurations > Billing and Payments
- Click on the relevant invoice to download as PDF
- For custom invoicing or tax ID updates, email support@geniesign.io
